Our Story
In the warm kitchens of Urfa, our grandfather Mehmet — everyone called him Memo — grilled kebabs on recipes he’d written by hand. He passed each one to his son, and his son passed them to us.
In May 2000, we opened three tables on Kings Highway in Brooklyn. Twenty-five years later, we seat ninety-five, grill the same cuts over the same fire, and hold to the same standards: halal meat, natural produce, nothing rushed.
Why People Come Back
What keeps regulars coming back isn’t a gimmick. It’s what we refuse to compromise on.
Family traditions preserved across three generations — from a kitchen in Urfa to our grill on Kings Highway.
Every cut sourced, handled, and grilled to halal specification. Same standard since 2000.
Plates, wraps, and gyros made to order over open fire. Nothing sits, nothing is rushed.
Fast, friendly, neighborhood-driven service — twenty-five years of it, in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

“An ambitious menu on a busy corner offers up good Turkish food to a wide array of Sheepshead Bay citizens. Always busy and with a good feel, even Bernie Sanders stopped by while in Brooklyn.”
A small cross-section of the voices that keep the grill busy — Brooklyn and Manhattan, late-night and lunch rush, family and office.
Been ordering from the Kings Highway spot since my kids were in middle school. The mix grill is still the standard — lamb, chicken, Adana, all hot, all right.
We catered a fifty-person office lunch through EZCater. Food arrived on time, hot, labeled, organized. Nobody wanted the sandwich platter afterward.
Lamb Adana and warm Turkish bread at midnight is the reason I moved to Sheepshead Bay and stayed. Brooklyn late-night kitchen, done right.
